ReplyDeleteOh we're purring and purraying for you. Hugs to your mom, too.
ReplyDeleteOur sister who came before us, Cerise, was a heartworm survivor. Our vet called her their "miracle kitty". She was on antibiotics and prednisone and was very lucky that the nasty worms passed out of her body and did not kill her. Mom even saw the worms on the picture they took of Cerise's heart. It was very scairty for Mom while this was all happening. That was ten years ago and now they know so much more. So if it is heartworm, don't give up hope.
