Poor little Maxie! We heard about his troubles through our friend Sparkle the Designer Cat's blog. We're purring for him to either make it through his surgery or have a peaceful crossing over the Bridge--whatever is in the little guy's highest and best interest--and that if he does cross the bridge, his humans (especially the little girl) take some comfort in knowing that they loved him and gave him a wonderful home. -- Love, Siouxsie, Thomas, and Dahlia, the Paws and Effect Gang
We are sending lots and lots of purrs and prayers for Maxie. Hope a miracle will happen and Maxie will get better. We do believe in miracles. Take care and we cross our paws too for Maxie.
When something like this happens, we human feel so much regret, wishing we could turn back time.
I will have Maxie in my thoughts today and if the new vet finds that Maxie can't be fixed up right, then to 'go to sleep' while one is already asleep, is the kindest and gentlest way...
We are so sorry for this sadness in your life.
Ps: I work at a cat hospital and we have a patient that had stents put in at a specialists too, due to adhesions in his esophagus due to the owner not rinsing down the doxycyline capsules after he gave them, and that kitty is doing well on a pureed 'milkshake' consistency canned food.
We are praying and purring our hearts out for Maxie. We know miracles happen because they have happened for us. We will pray for the doctor and ask that the Lord guides his hands and his judgement.
Mommy and I are very sorry that Maxie has such a bad hurty now. These bad things happen and we are so sad about it. Wishing you sweet time together as a family. Know how much we care....
